Riverwalk Cruising

On the 29th we went down to the Riverwalk to take the boat tour. It's a beautiful place to be when all of the lights are up! We usually head over to Mr. Ice Cream's to get a treat afterwards. They have a nice balcony where you can eat your ice cream and enjoy the view.

Christmas Morning

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas with my parents this year. It has been such a blessing to have them here at this time.

We hosted our Open House on the 20th of December and had a great time! Dean and Gloria Hoekstra were the winners of a special contest we had. They found a tiny stocking on the mantle and asked what it was for. We had put a Starbuck's gift card inside for whoever asked about it first. This is how we announced upcoming baby #5!

Snow (well, ice) in South Texas!

Around December 10th the girls were thrilled to awaken to some patches of icy precipitation on our lawn and roof. It was a big deal to them!
