They only let you post 5 pics at a time, but I wanted to add in this additional photo with Bethany and Sophia. Couldn't leave my little Beth out! She loves the baby so much and is one of the most gentle three-year olds I've encountered. :-)

Back from a long hiatus... Baby Sophia is finally here!
Hi All!
We've been gone a while! It seems I was so busy during this past pregnancy that there was little time for blogging. :-) However, now is the time to get back in the swing of things and post some pics in honor of our newest blessing! Little Sophia Rose was born on August 10th at 5:39am. She was 8 pounds and 11 ounces (our biggest baby yet!) and 21 inches long. We are adjusting to life with 5 little girls 7 and under! Here are a few photos...

Riverwalk Cruising
On the 29th we went down to the Riverwalk to take the boat tour. It's a beautiful place to be when all of the lights are up! We usually head over to Mr. Ice Cream's to get a treat afterwards. They have a nice balcony where you can eat your ice cream and enjoy the view.
Christmas Morning
We enjoyed a lovely Christmas with my parents this year. It has been such a blessing to have them here at this time.

We hosted our Open House on the 20th of December and had a great time! Dean and Gloria Hoekstra were the winners of a special contest we had. They found a tiny stocking on the mantle and asked what it was for. We had put a Starbuck's gift card inside for whoever asked about it first. This is how we announced upcoming baby #5!
Snow (well, ice) in South Texas!
Around December 10th the girls were thrilled to awaken to some patches of icy precipitation on our lawn and roof. It was a big deal to them!
