Homeschool Water Day

Here are a few photos from Homeschool Water Day (hosted by SAWS - the San Antonio water works) where the girls played games, looked for organisms in pond water, had snacks and a picnic lunch, watched presentations about the water cycle, and played with friends. From top to bottom: Gabrielle in her stroller during lunch, Hannah watching a presentation about the water cycle, Eliana crawling through a tube, Hannah and Eliana inspecting pond water, and Bethany holding a ticket to play a game. Everything was free!

Our budding pianist..

Doesn't little Gabrielle look great in red? ( Don't mind the red-eye!)

South Texas Corn Maize! - Part 2

The experiences that day (beside the corn maize) included the corn popper (a huge bouncy mat), a hayride and picking out pumpkins. We also had a picnic lunch on the grounds. I hope we can go again next year!

South Texas Corn Maize!

On October the 16th we went to a corn maize and pumpkin patch! It was great fun. We had to answer bible questions and if we answered the questions right, we would make it through. We did make it through in about an hour!

Somewhere over the Rainbow....

On October 15 this beautiful rainbow graced the skies of South Texas. The girls LOVED it. Hanna's pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the rainbow colors (ROY G BIV) now!

Eliana is now 5!!!

It's hard to believe that 5 years have passed since our fun-loving little Eliana was born. We love her cheerful smile and adventurous nature. We celebrated her birthday by having yummy gluten-free donuts for breakfast and opening presents. We had a fun day out and about, and then picked up Grandma Jo at the airport. The day ended with dinner out at Pei Wei with Grandma Jo.

On the eve of Eliana's 5th birthday...

On the evening before Eliana's 5th birthday (Oct. 11) we celebrated by having a family dinner at home followed up by chocolate cake. Even Gabrielle got to try some. Everyone is geared up for an exciting time tomorrow. Grandma Jo arrives!
